NICHOLAS GARDENER
Founded in September 2025 by Nicholas R Gardener, who has over 15 years of experience in the turf industry, including a background in golf and greenkeeping, NRG combines a passion for turf with a sports background as a Professional Golfer.
Started out at Broadway Golf Club as a apprentice Greenkeeper, Qualified as a level 2 Greenkeeper with a Diploma in Sports Turf, without stopping, carried on my qualifications into obtaining my Level 3 in Management in Sports Turf with a Diploma. Redesigned Broadway Golf Club Short game area, which is still in use today. In 2020 went into Turf Machinery Sales with local Dealer Tallis Amos John Deere, as a Area Sales Manager.
In 2022 was offered a position back into the Golf world as Head Greenkeeper & Deputy Estate Manager at Heythrop Park Golf Club, under ownership of Blackstone Holdings run by warner Leisure. Just over to successfully years, growing the Banbridge Tour Championship course, Hosting, 1x Jamega Tour, and 4 x Clutch Tour Events that took over from the Europro Tour back in 2020.
In Middle of 2024, Opportunity came up with a Turf Machinery company I was wanted to work for, Reesink Uk TORO, to redevelop a area which they had lost prior to a previous Dealer going out of business. In a Year.
